Mom died @ 3:00pm yesterday technically...I was in calc. Found out when I got home from uncle. It goes without saying that I'll miss her greatly...I'll be heading to GA this weekend (where she is, relatives took her back with them when they visited. Around the time of the move). Not sure how prepared I'll be for the calc exam next Friday...Or how much progress I'll make on that paper.

Current Mood: Okaasan.

Played basketball and it was good. Played 1 vs 1 against a friend and won. Wasn't keeping score but it was by a lot. I was shooting well today.

But! This is the best part of the day. I was walking on the quad with Monica, and we saw this squirrel. It came up to us and got pretty close (Sub 1 ft). Unfortunately we didn't have any food. I took a picture of the little guy, and afterwards...we shook hands. Or rather, he cutely reached for and grabbed my finger, which I extended toward him. Two girls walked by at that exact moment and gave an "Awww". That was one awesome squirrel. No fear of us whatsoever. Almost like a pet. Monica tried the same thing, but as we both knew, he was looking for food. He sampled her finger. I don't mean full on bite, but the usual rodent test nibble. If you've had a gerbil or hamster you may know what I mean. It's what they do (MUCH better than if a shark does it. O.O). After realizing there was no food on her he went off. Tried to give him a tapioca ball (We had Boba tea) but he wasn't interested. I should definitely carry some squirrel friendly food.

I'll get to some reading before the LAL vs PHX game.

But yeah...I think I'll get to work on physics..and that reading...and the quiz. The story of the stone is pretty...ok. Interesting at times to say the least.

Took my CLCV 115 multi-choice exam today...Killed it. I know I might have only missed about 3-4 max of 70 questions. Next is the Essay portion tomorrow/today.

Meanwhile, I'm moving forward with study focus again. By that I mean if it weren't Rocky week on AMC I would probably be completely caught up with reading and ahead with some subjects...or at least I'd be getting more sleep. Next week looks good...cept for the Physics exam and EALC 275 paper due on the same day. I'll have to kill it before that weekend. I've still got some reading and studying to do...Grr...Darn Man & Wife for being so funny/distracting.

The worst part of the cold is over! Now in superhuman state. Hopefully this'll last through the weekend and I can catch up on everything. Unfortunately, did horribly on the Physics Exam. So naturally, I'll have to buckle down and kick it's arse. I'm hoping to accomplish this on my own. But will employ tutor if necessary.

Let's see...Dentist appointment tomorrow, and review for CLCV 115. I've much reading for that class...Thanks to new focus, physics HW will probably be done by tomorrow for full credit ( no 10% reduction for undone probs). Hmm...I'm in the process of making peace with my little house centipede "friends". I know they're hunters and would only be here if there's something to eat. So I've decided to leave any that I see downstairs alone, and kill only big ones in my room/bathroom. Ideally, I'd leave them all be, but hey, it's a start, no?
I guess I better sleep a bit. Off to do teh final physics prob!

P.S. Forgot to mention. Props to mah GF. She helped quite a bit when I was most affected by the cold (there are always 1 or 2 days of complete drain before superhuman). Delicious homemade chicken and rice soup that I'm still eating (with other veggies), and OJ. It's good to have a support unit. X)
